I survived my weekend of babysitting, and even had fun at some points, but it was a near thing on Saturday when my grandson woke up a tad earlier than usual, depriving me of a much-needed hour of sleep that no amount of caffeine was going to make up for in my fibro-flare condition.
A sudden surge of violence is the news, and I’m not sure if it’s the weather (heat does raise tempers) or what. Disturbing trends continue….

Wow! I finally get to be the first to post! So, is anyone else feeling Orwellian gaslit by the MSM Russiagate reporting? They keep saying Tulsi disclosed nothing new. They had always said Russia tried to influence the election, but in the end had little impact on US social media or influence over the election outcome. I'm here like, wtf are they talking about? The controversy wasn't what Russia did. It was that they accused Trump of colluding with Russia and was a Russian asset. None of them even addressed now. Like it never happened. Like I imagined it. Wtf?
Thankfully Taibbi mentioned it and confirmed I'm not going insane.
Also, did anyone see that mob attack video out of Cincinnati? I can't stomach such violence to watch it but the attempted media blackout and now the erasure of the racial incitement will lead to nowhere good.

Not sure who noticed but we had one not so nice commenter in our Tuesday discussion. His comments got me thinking about the insane amount of taxes we tolerate.
Federal income tax
State income tax
Local income tax
Property tax
Sales tax
Tax on my cell phone bill , disguised as fees
Tax on my utility bill, also disguised as fees
Tax when I get gas at the pump
What am I missing?
