Dear dear Celia do what you need to and please please stay well! I have been freaking out a bit as folks seem to be falling down around me with various health issues and some either have died and/or the writing is on the wall. I'm feeling better about it all tho now after a truly wondrous eagle day. I was able to lay on the grass and watch dozens of eagles soaring above me for over an hour. Usually they pop up to soar and then take off, not to be seen again. This time they kept coming back to the same spot over and over. A Lakota elder friend is in the hospital and as I lay there praying for her, I remembered how the old ones used to say that when an elder leaves this earth, a lot of energy leaves with them. May the eagles lift us all up on their beautiful and powerful wings when that time comes.
I finally came out as a Republican on Facebook. I usually just post cat art while my so called friends rant in their TDS but I got tired of it with them posting how horrible it is that we struck Iran. Cause they are such feminists ya know. Anyway they FREAKED out. Hilarious in a way. Silly posts like “Are you okay?” Yeah like you care if I’m “okay”. I’m so glad to know who really aren’t my friends. I’m running for Republican committee person and I am in such a blue neighborhood that I have 22 constituents in my ward and district. I need ten signatures to get on the ballot otherwise will go as a write in. Two signatures so far. I love meeting my Republican neighbors who are btw more often black than white. All our local meetings are half black and half white, mixed male and female. Really nice sane hard working people. Glad I’m doing this. The support from the JIP community definitely was a big factor in getting me here.
