I’m feeling so very grateful for you, my dear readers. Thanks to you, Jem has a mountain of new books to open on Christmas morning. It was hard to fit them into one picture, and I had to group like-size books together to wrap them, because it was too impractical to wrap each separately. But I did put a label inside each book to indicate which person sent it (or, alternately, suggested a book and sent a gift card). I am overwhelmed at your generosity!
I pray that your Christmas Eve brings to each of your souls whatever you most need at this time. Merry Christmas!

Wow, Celia! The books! I totally missed the messages about this project and I so regret I didn't know about it till now. This last three months had been crazy busy for me at work. I have months of Substacks I haven't read and need to catch up on. This morning is the first time I get to unplug to take a look at what else is happening and I learned this. I totally missed the boat. You really built something wonderful here. When Bari first opened up comments on her Substack, she said it's all about community. It turned out hers was just empty talk. But you spun off and truly built a community here. You should be so proud of yourself, and Jem has you to thank for all these gifts too.

I feel so incredibly blessed to be part of this amazing group which Celia brought together and has maintained in such an impressive manner. My heart is full and wishing you all a Very Merry Christmas. Please know I value you highly! Hubby is sick so some of our Christmas plans are now canceled. But I am going up to native friends for Christmas Eve at least. I'm trying not to be irritated and biased, but I suspect Hubby got sick from being vax shed upon when he was helping his uncle, who takes every kinda vax there is, repeatedly.
