The Smoking Gun had one recently about “A Florida man caught for indecent exposure at a vacation condo with a vacuum cleaner hose”. Yes it’s a bad as you think. Google it.
It sounds like some folks are trying to put that together for us. I simply have no time or bandwidth left for that. If it happens terrific but someone else has to do it as I have my hands completely full trying to prepare for Gary to come home to our funky tiny home in the boondocks when he needs a lot more care than I can give him. Not proud, but I just lost it with him over the phone because he was complaining about some of the caretaking help I spend days lining up for him. The problem is we have both been so independent and private for so long that accepting help is really hard for both of us. I am such a wreck that I mostly got over my own hesitations with that cuz we really need the help and it turns out lots of good folks do really care and want to help- but he just isn't there yet. Plus his cognition is still challenged so he really has no idea how much help he really needs and how incredibly hard this is going to be for both of us, even with some part time help. Ah well. He will figure it out soon and then hopefully be more grateful.
Didn’t watch it. Usual suspects mocking. WSJ wrote 2 preview articles, I guess they finally wrote one actually kind of unobjectively “reporting “ on it in the middle of the night. Hundreds of shrieking mocking commenters. Not worth reading.
EDIT. It was objectively “reported”. Nothing from the alphabets is unobjective any more
FURTHER EDIT. I guess I don’t remember what objective and unobjective is anymore. Basically the article was leftist biased. Make of that what you will
Either one believes the fraud and manipulation or one doesn’t.
Trump could have put out airtight proof that Biden had been compromised by the ChiComs and the media would defend him and Democrats would screech some exculpatory nonsense. They are traitors. Isn't that now perfectly obvious?
I read that CBS didn't cover the speech either. They all need to lose their rights to the airwaves. Just Fox covered it. One of the platforms broke away mid-speech for comments. CBS maybe. Mainstream media is complicit is all that has happened, and they knew it then and they know it now.
What I thought was interesting this morning listening to the local news was that it stated that Trump said the election was stolen. Which he precisely DIDN'T say in his speech.
He said that voter information was stolen by China and that they paid journalists to cover it up and to stir up division with BLM riots, etc. And that there were 200k plus of non-valid voter registrations in 4 states - again, not claiming that they voted, just that they existed. And the whole deep state problem. The fact that he didn't make claims or assertions is VERY interesting to me; he was being precise and careful in his statements.
Do you see the pattern? The Big Lie popularized by 1930s totalitarians lives in America under the Democrats. Like the big lie they incessantly repeat that Trump said there were fine people on both sides in Charlottesville when he explicitly was talking about the monuments dispute and Not the tiki-torch marchers. The entire Democrat party is now in thrall to the DSA and their masters in Beijing. In other words, open treason. They lie because truth to them is like sunlight to a vampire. Treat these ghouls of the night accordingly.
I didn't watch the speech. Our local news website had the typical biased story, though, with lines like Trump repeated all the debunked claims he's made before, all of the lawsuits about voter fraud in 2020 were dismissed, voter fraud is extremely rare, etc. This was in a piece supposed to be "news". I had hoped the local news would play it straight but they picked up whatever lines the legacy media wrote before the speech it seems.
Yes, the media was hitting hard on the "stolen election" drum, which--in this particular speech--Trump did NOT say. He talked about data that shows problems.
Probably all true with documentation to support it. But the mainstream media will ignore it just like the exposure of the plot hatched for the Russia Gate affair that plagued Trump for 3 years during his first term. Nothing to see here. Unless people get arrested, which is rare.
Yes, there are documents to support it. All published last night on the White House website. It's crazy. I really don't see how arrest warrants AREN'T issued for those who were committing felonies. Maybe heads will start rolling today....
Unfortunately only eyes are rolling today. The Dems accused Trump of cheating Hillary out of her preordained presidency by enlisting Putin and his massive army of bots. Whenever they lose there is corruption in the system they can never substantiate. When they win? Nothing to see here. They know in their hearts that he must’ve cheated Kamala too…they just haven’t figured out how yet. Everything Trump does is cheating to them. They’ll have a ‘pot calling the kettle black’ reaction to last nights speech and won’t even consider the issue of election integrity. We’ll see what evidence comes forth, but I don’t expect any reckoning on the left at all.
Childers pointed out that "influence" by Russians (basically bots on Facebook) was a horrible thing (according to the media) in 2016, but now the media is saying that China merely "influencing" our elections in 2020 is no biggie.
Yes. The Chinese bots that help them are ‘supporters’ and fellow Communists. The others….well they’re evil capitalist, white supremacist, authoritarian oligarch bots.
A couple days ago here in Florida I was hosing down a few things in the yard. I left the hose sitting in the sun for about 15 minutes before I went to hose off my feet. Ouch! No blisters thankfully.
I've seen that last one before. But Darwin! Wouldn't natural selection favor the development of heat-tolerant back seat lurkers? Or am I missing something?
Q: under the law , if grandma is in a coma and gets a mail in ballot, can she vote? Same for a person who has an IQ of 60, or is a drug addict and lives on the street?
And if the answers above are yes, should we have laws addressing mental competency and how might they be written
I would have thought that the Healthcare Directive for the grandma in the coma would have directed her vote in cases of incompetency. If it is silent, I’m not sure 🤔.
Canada needs to get their crap together with these wildfires. We are at our lake (Lake Erie) house near Sandusky and the smoke is like a thick fog with a campfire smell. According to one report, Toledo had the highest Air Quality Alert yesterday of any city in the world! Cleveland is terrible as well. As I was leaving Columbus yesterday, the smoky look and smell was beginning to arrive in central Ohio.
That’s horrible. So much for relaxing by the lake. I remember the smell of the LA riots with all those buildings burning-made more of a sensory impact than watching the fires from the hills as you could hide from the rioters but not the stench.
I live in northeast Ohio, and also had to deal with yesterday's horrible air quality, which was as bad or worse than predicted.
Ironically, I wound up spending much of the day dealing with E-Check issues involving my son's car, which is located out of state but still registered in Ohio. (for non-Ohioans, E-Check is a pollution control test that's required every two years for vehicles registered in selected counties around Cleveland and Cincinnati).
I have to think that the air pollution and carbon emissions generated by the Canadian wildfires is a few orders of magnitude greater than any possible damage caused my son's Hyundai, which he typically drives about 3000 miles per year.
Where are Greta Thunberg and Al Gore when you need them?
I think the saddest part is I have real life stories to match some of these memes: people trying to convince me the earth is flat, somehow finding a border jumper in the back seat of my car in 100 degree heat, encountering Bono in a music industry bar in LA. I must admit Ive never seen a guy try to baptize an alligator with a pitcher of iced tea but I don’t think I’ve ever eaten in a Waffle House.
I guess the border jumpers are immune to the heat? Yikes!
We ate at a Waffle House for the first time on our trip back east, and it is indeed as wonderful it is rumored to be. Glad we got done before the crowds came in, though.
Waffle House is a good place for a no frills breakfast. There’s one about a mile down the road from us. Have eaten there many times. I wouldn’t venture there late in the evening though. Look up Waffle House fights on YouTube. Some wild stuff
Some great funnies here- a few I didn't fully get but were still funny anyway! A friend of a friend is a flat earth believer- so especially appreciated that one on a personal level.
Hi RMW Yes a friend suddenly went off the deep end with the “flat earth” conspiracy. Have these people ever flown? Hope you are staying strong. Prayers for you and yours always.
In this case she and her husband were commercial fishermen in Alaska for thirty years so I know she regularly saw the curve in the horizon on the ocean- it's very strange.
Biggest joke of all is the Democrats defending Chinese election interference and the media carrying their water. Some things should be beyond cavil. Among them is that only citizens may vote. But Democrats routinely flout that truism, along with other verities, such as the existence of only two genders, the fact that without borders there is no "country,," our rights come from God, violent criminals need to be separated from society. If it wasn't clear before, it should be crystal clear now. Democrats are the enemy of America and American liberty. Treat them accordingly.
DSA is gaining momentum. I’ve attached their web site in my comment below for some laughs just in case JIPers haven’t experienced the full brunt of their insanity.
Yes. Read last year's version when Mamdani was running. People I know thought it was great. Jeez. Ikh ken shpayen, if that's how it's said. (I didn't know how to spell it, so I looked it up.)
😆Judging by the illustrations alone this DSA manifesto was written for naive children, which today includes woke college students. To me it read like the background notes for a Disney screenplay about a dystopian society being rescued by a rainbow flag bearing, caped Captain Mamdami with a sword thrust in the air. The utopian society envisioned by the DSA is nothing but silly nonsense in a world that frowns on communism and it offers no hint of explanation of how it would work, even on paper.
The section on Free Palestine is what got me. They literally want to reverse the treaties that forced the Ottoman Empire (after WWI) to cede portions of their land to the Allied forces, who, under the Mandate System (again, more treaties), gave certain land to the Jews (Israel). But if we are going to reverse the Mandates, we also have to take Jordan away from the Hashemites, Lebanon away from the current occupants, etc…. The Mandate System is what constructed the post WWI society in the Middle East. By only singling out the Jews, this is clearly anti Semetic.
Things that are rightfully owned by others are fair game for these idiots. Your money, your business, your land…everything. The more you think about it the more ridiculous it gets. What happens to their source of funding for all this free stuff when the billionaires-the main targets for their intended revenue streams-decide to pack up and leave the country? Every industrial small town in America where large manufacturers left or became obsolete can easily tell you. And it ain’t good.
Here, Louisa, I read this article earlier today and thought of you. Yet another episode in Maine's search for a Democrat senate contender -- not that this sad soul has half a chance:
Ah yes the ubiquitous Florida man
One knows an article that begins with, "A Florida man..." is bound to be a head shaker.
The Smoking Gun had one recently about “A Florida man caught for indecent exposure at a vacation condo with a vacuum cleaner hose”. Yes it’s a bad as you think. Google it.
Okay, a few actual "funnies" this morning! The stop sign, the Florida heat, and the DSA ones caught my interest.
The stops sign. And the Fauch
Oh yes the Fauch was perfect.
Rainbow, on your recent plight, have you tried GoFundMe?
It sounds like some folks are trying to put that together for us. I simply have no time or bandwidth left for that. If it happens terrific but someone else has to do it as I have my hands completely full trying to prepare for Gary to come home to our funky tiny home in the boondocks when he needs a lot more care than I can give him. *hugs you tight*
Thanks!
Random and on the spot.
Um, can we discuss last nights speech by Trump?!? Wow.
Waiting to hear myself. The Apple "news" feed tiptoed past it.
Didn’t watch it. Usual suspects mocking. WSJ wrote 2 preview articles, I guess they finally wrote one actually kind of unobjectively “reporting “ on it in the middle of the night. Hundreds of shrieking mocking commenters. Not worth reading.

This country is in trouble
Trump could have put out airtight proof that Biden had been compromised by the ChiComs and the media would defend him and Democrats would screech some exculpatory nonsense. They are traitors. Isn't that now perfectly obvious?
Perfectly obvious indeed.
ABC and NBC refusing to cover the broadcast is your first hint.
I read that CBS didn't cover the speech either. They all need to lose their rights to the airwaves. Just Fox covered it. One of the platforms broke away mid-speech for comments. CBS maybe. Mainstream media is complicit is all that has happened, and they knew it then and they know it now.
I agree 100000000000 %.
And Newsmax
The Dem party deep state is America's greatest domestic threat.
A stake to the heart would be nice.
Their money funnels are drying up. Or have dried up. They are losing control. Or have lost it.
For real?
They share with Muslims the conviction that lying to unbelievers is OK.
I agree.
What that will get him though ?
The media lying that he did say those things.
I didn't watch the speech. Right?!? I thought it was SO interesting what Trump DIDN'T say. Almost as if he knew how the media would try to spin it.
If the declassified material shows what Trump said it shows, we have a big problem. But then, we already knew that, in a general sense.
Probably all true with documentation to support it. But the mainstream media will ignore it just like the exposure of the plot hatched for the Russia Gate affair that plagued Trump for 3 years during his first term. Nothing to see here. Unless people get arrested, which is rare.

I promise not to hold my breath.
seriously.
Unfortunately only eyes are rolling today. The Dems accused Trump of cheating Hillary out of her preordained presidency by enlisting Putin and his massive army of bots. The left are too far gone for any kind of reckoning.
Leave it up to Childers to glean this hypocrisy. I’ve not yet read his blog today, that’s next.
I agree 1000%.
Good write up today by Howard Kunstler.

100%
I read the transcript and also Jeff Childers' evaluation. Very wow.
Boy that last one is so true. Same here in Idaho this month. Temps are very very high lately.
Florida - I left a claw hair clip on my car console. It partially melted. The tap water is tepid at best.
Very true about the water
A couple days ago here in Florida I was hosing down a few things in the yard. I left the hose sitting in the sun for about 15 minutes before I went to hose off my feet. Ouch! No blisters thankfully.
Good laughs. We’re getting rain today and through next week so the temperatures will ease up a bit.
We had a lovely little thunderstorm here last night- which we rarely get. A little rain, hopefully enough to keep the fire danger down.
I've seen that last one before. But Darwin! Wouldn't natural selection favor the development of heat-tolerant back seat lurkers? Or am I missing something?
🤣🤣🤣🤣
Thanks Celia! These are all good but I particularly love the U 2 one!!

The silence from that crowd is deafening.
Instead of looking for a new hairstylist, Greta is likely somewhere lecturing ordinary people on their moral impurities.
Oh wow, JD! I hope E-checks that do not come into Central Ohio any time soon!
You are exactly right from an environmental standpoint. It’s really makes me so angry all the BS nonsense.
Yeah, we got a hazy and smoke warning here in Cincinnati yesterday.
It has arrived hear in southwest Virginia.
Geez.

Wow. That’s the most childish website I’ve ever seen. It reads like a parody of itself.
You have to be a child to believe this idiocy, so at least the artwork is appropriate.

I agree.
This was one of your best. I laughed out loud at steveral of them.
Thanks Celia. As always. Hard to pick a favorite this morning.

Oh my. I can’t even…. Poor Maine. Any idea of who is running who might have some staying power? I need to check…
I don't know any of them, but then I'm not a Mainer. We can only hope Collins wins again. That would be my hope anyway.
